PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pendant shaped edge light type lighting device which is installed in a small space such as an area near a wall, enables a light emitting part to be formed into a given design, and keeps emitting light in a case that a light source is turned off.SOLUTION: An edge light type lighting device includes: a light emitting part 4 formed by cutting a plate-like transparent material or a plate-like translucent material into a given shape; a light source part 1 disposed on an upper end part of the light emitting part 4; and a case 2 in which the light source part 1 is stored. When the light emitting part 4 is fitted in the case 2, recessed parts 4a, 4b of the light emitting part are held by protruding parts 2a, 2b of the case 2. |
