The purpose of the present invention is to provide an adhesive composition which has excellent tack properties, adhesive power, holding power and coatability. An adhesive composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing a block copolymer (a) that has a block mainly composed of a vinyl aromatic monomer unit, a tackifying agent (b) and an oil (c). This adhesive composition is also characterized in that: the block copolymer (a) contains a partially hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1); the partially hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) has a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit; the content of the vinyl aromatic monomer unit is from 10% by mass to 19% by mass (inclusive) relative to 100% by mass of the partially hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1); and the hydrogenation degree of double bonds contained in the conjugated diene monomer unit in the partially hydrogenated block copolymer (a-1) is 15 mol% or more but less than 80 mol% relative to the total amount of double bonds before hydrogenation.
