PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy linkage between a Web application on the Internet and an application in an information processing terminal.SOLUTION: In response to a Local Intent processing request (S1402), a proxy application 1130 starts a Web browser 1140 (UA) (S1403). The proxy application 1130 converts the Local Intent processing request into a Web Intent processing request (S1406) and sends the same to the Web browser 1140 (S1407). The Web browser 1140 provides a user with a list of Web Intents registered in the UA that corresponds to the Web Intent processing request so that a function provided by a Web application 1150 that uses data specified by the Local Intent processing request is selected (S1408).
