PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flow rate of working oil guided to a regenerative motor from being excessive.SOLUTION: There is provided a control system 100 of a hybrid construction machine, and the control system includes: main pump MP1, MP2 which discharge working oil to drive respective actuators; a regenerative motor M which is driven with a working fluid discharged from the respective actuator through a confluence regenerative passage 46; an electric motor 47 which can be driven by the regenerative motor M; and a regenerative passage changeover valve 58 which has a tank communication position for linking the confluence regenerative passage 46 to a tank T when the inflow amount of the working oil in the confluence regenerative passage 46 to the regenerative motor M exceeds a specified value.
