<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corium holding apparatus capable of ensuring excellent installation property and appropriately holding corium, and a nuclear reactor equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A corium holding apparatus 1 comprises: a container 11 disposed in a lower portion of a reactor core 21; and a flaky, particulate or massive mixture 12 filled into the container 11, the mixture 12 containing at least a high melting point material at a melting point equal to or higher than 2400°C and a recriticality prevention material. The mixture 12 further comprises at least one of a material causing an endothermic reaction with the corium, a material having high latent heat of melting, and a radioactive substance diffusion inhibitor.</p> |
