<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid capable of controlling the position of a plunger arbitrarily depending on the value of a current flowing through a coil, and having a configuration suitable for long stroke length, and facilitating the processing of a plunger.SOLUTION: A solenoid 10 facilitating the processing of a plunger 20 can be provided because thrust can be set easily and arbitrarily by the thickness of a cylindrical protrusion 22 of the plunger 20 or the angle of inclination of an inner peripheral surface 55 or outer peripheral surface thereof, so as to be suitable for a long stroke length, and the portion near the tip of the plunger 20 is not required to be made very thin. Since a shaft 56 is guided by a guide hole 29 of a base 27, lateral stress for the shaft 56, i.e., the stress in a direction perpendicular to the sliding direction, does not cause any inclination of the shaft 56, and reliability of a solenoid having a long stroke length can be enhanced.</p> |
