The present invention relates to a control method used by a display device to sort a content list. The content list sorting method used by the display device includes the steps of: storing one or more contents selected by a user; displaying a content list including the contents; and fixing the location of the contents selected on the content list upon receiving a location fixing command for at least one of the contents on the content list. Accordingly, the present invention can efficiently sort the content list.
