<p>PURPOSE: An electric powered reel control device is provided to suppress the fluctuation of the display of tension even when a drag device is operated since the tension is corrected when a spool is slid by the operation of the drag device. CONSTITUTION: An electric powered reel control device comprises a tension display unit(75) displaying the tension acting on a fishing gut wound around a spool; a current value detection unit(66a) detecting the current value running in a motor; a tension detection part(76) detecting the tension based on the current value which the current value detection unit detects; a drag operation detection unit(77) detecting whether the spool slides down against the motor or not by the operation of the drag device; a tension correction unit(78) correcting the detected result of the tension detection unit; and a motor controller(69) controlling motor in multiple steps.
