<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select probe information contributing to the generation of an accurate traffic index. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a validity determination device 4 of probe information S5 that determines whether or not the probe information S5 is valid as generation data of a traffic index. This device 4 includes: calculation means 401 calculating a first start-wave velocity Va1 that is acquired from a stop position Z1 of the probe vehicle 5 and a lapse time T1 from a time point tg of starting a blue signal till starting the probe vehicle 5, and a second start-wave velocity Va2 that is acquired from an installation position Z0 of a vehicle sensor 7 and a lapse time T1' after starting the blue signal till the vehicle sensor 7 detects the vehicle 5 first; and determination means 401, assuming that the stop position Z1 of the probe vehicle 5 is located in the upstream side of the installation position Z0 of the vehicle sensor 7, determining the validity of the probe information S5 using the two types of start-wave velocities Va1 and Va2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
