<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which holds a sheet abutting on a nip of a resist roller in a state that its tip abuts on the nip. <P>SOLUTION: Generally, a feeding device 5 includes a resist roller, a feeding roller 4, and a rotation restriction mechanism 7. The resist roller feeds a sheet downstream in a feeding direction by pinching it with the nip. The feeding roller feeds the sheet to the resist roller side and strikes a tip in the feeding direction of the sheet in the nip to bend the sheet, thereby correcting the skew of the sheet. The rotation restriction mechanism restricts the rotation of the feeding roller to a return direction by a force in which the rear end side in the feeding direction of the sheet bent by abutting of the tip in the feeding direction in the nip applied to the feeding roller, and a force which rotates the feeding roller to a return direction of returning the sheet to the upstream side in the feeding direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
