Provided is a method for manufacturing a maraging steel coil, whereby it is possible to suppress an increase in localized hardness of the coil after hot rolling. A method for manufacturing a maraging steel coil, including a step for preparing a maraging steel hot rolling raw material, a raw material heating step for heating the hot rolling raw material, a hot rolling step for hot rolling the hot rolling raw material heated by the raw material heating step, and a winding and cooling step for winding the hot-rolled material obtained by the hot rolling step into a coil and cooling the coil, wherein the winding and cooling step is performed by winding the coil while cooling the hot-rolled material so that the temperature of the hot-rolled material does not increase to the Ms point or above after the hot-rolled material has been cooled to a temperature less than the Ms point. |
