Systems and methods for marking content

According to various embodiments, a content marking command is received from a mobile device at a particular time. For example, a user selection of the content marking command may be received via a user interface displayed on the mobile device. The content marking command may indicate a user interest in a particular moment of an event viewed by the user. Moreover, the event viewed by the user and video content data corresponding to the event may be identified. Further, content marking data may be generated, whether content marking data indicates a particular portion of the identified video content data corresponding to the particular moment of the event.

1. An apparatus comprising:
an interface module configured to receive, via a user interface displayed on a mobile device, a content marking command at a particular time, the content marking command indicating a user interest in a particular moment of a live event viewed by the user; an identification module implemented by one or more processors and configured to identify the live event viewed by the user and video content data corresponding to the live event; and a content marking module configured to generate content marking data indicating a particular portion of the identified video content data corresponding to the particular moment of the live event.
