<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device which eliminates deformation of loaded waved sheets and supplies them to the downstream of a secondary paper feeding mechanism.SOLUTION: A paper feeding device 1 has: a primary paper feeding mechanism 5 in which three handling mechanisms 6 including a paper feeding roller 7 and a handling member 8 are arranged side by side at intervals in an axial direction; and a secondary paper feeding mechanism 15 provided on the downstream. Control means 30 releases the nip of a sheet by the handling mechanism in the center by driving a solenoid 20 while maintaining the nip of the left and right handling mechanisms, after the tip of the sheet passes through the primary paper feeding mechanism and before it reaches the secondary paper feeding mechanism. A force of sheet conveyance is maintained, and when the sheet is fed and abuts on the secondary paper feeding mechanism, even when it is a waved sheet, the deformation is stretched to the left and right outward sides and eliminated. After passing through the secondary paper feeding mechanism, the waving of the sheet is eliminated, and wrinkles do not occur in a downstream printing part.</p> |
