<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic device capable of acquiring subject information with a high degree of precision, using an initial sound pressure distribution acquired based on a reception signal of a photoacoustic wave.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic device disclosed in the present specification includes: a photoacoustic wave reception part for receiving a photoacoustic wave generated by the irradiation of light to a subject and outputting a reception signal; and a processing part for acquiring an initial sound pressure distribution in the subject using the reception signal, and acquiring subject information using an equation indicating propagation of light including the initial sound pressure distribution and a correction term including a background absorption coefficient distribution of the subject.</p> |
