<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter of low power consumption.SOLUTION: A voltage converter outputting the input voltage from a storage battery while converting includes an output capacitor which outputs an output voltage by storing the input voltage, a first output switch for switching whether or not the storage battery and output capacitor are connected, and a first output voltage control section for switching the first output switch on/off, depending on the fact whether or not the output voltage has exceeded a predetermined first threshold voltage. The first output voltage control section includes a first reference voltage generating section for generating a first reference voltage corresponding to the first threshold voltage, and a first CMOS inverter having an input terminal receiving the first reference voltage, and a power supply terminal receiving the output voltage. The first output voltage control section detects whether or not the output voltage has exceeded the first threshold voltage, on the basis of whether or not the output from the first CMOS inverter has inverted.</p> |
