PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system fault determination apparatus capable of accurately, promptly determining a failure in each of two types of fuel supply apparatuses supplying fuels into an intake passage and into cylinders of an internal combustion engine, and improving merchantability.SOLUTION: An ECU 2 of a fault determination apparatus 1 calculates a feedback correction factor KAF so that a detected air-fuel ratio KACT is equal to a target air-fuel ratio KCMD, determines which region a required torque TRQ and an engine rotational speed NE are present, a PI region using only a first fuel supply apparatus 10, a DI region using only a second fuel supply apparatus 20 or a region other than the PI and DI regions, calculates a learning value KAFAVE_PI by performing weighted average operation on the value KAF calculated if the required torque TRQ and the engine rotational speed NE are in the PI region, determines whether a fault occurs to the first fuel supply apparatus 10, calculates a learning value KAFAVE_DI by performing the weighted average operation using a weight factor smaller than that in the PI region on the value KAF detected if the required torque TRQ and the engine rotational speed NE are in the DI region, and determining a fault occurs to the second fuel supply apparatus 20 on the basis of the calculated learning value KAFAVE_DI. |
