<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing method, printable in a desired position of a printing surface in a printing matter, without using a tool, without increasing a burden to an operator.SOLUTION: The printer executes predetermined printing on the basis of printing data, and comprises projection means for projecting a predetermined pattern to a table for placing a plurality of three-dimensional-shaped printing matter, photographing means for photographing the predetermined pattern projected on the table, three-dimensional information acquiring means for acquiring three-dimensional information of the plurality of printing matter placed on the table, attitude recognition means for recognizing an arrangement position and an attitude of the printing matter from the three-dimensional information acquired by the three-dimensional information acquiring means, arrangement means for arranging an inputted printing image on the printing matter on the basis of the arrangement position and the attitude of the printing matter recognized by the attitude recognition means and printing data making means for making printing data on the basis of the printing image arranged by the arrangement means.</p> |
