PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device capable of reducing an effect due to distortion correction of an input image for on-screen display image data to be superimposed on the input image.SOLUTION: An image projection device for superimposing a second image on a first image to project the resultant image, includes: image input means 101 for receiving an input of the first image; image generation means 102 for generating the second image; distortion correction means 104 for performing correction processing of the first image and the second image on the condition of correcting distortion of an image to be projected and displayed; image combination means 105 for combining the first image with the second image, which are subjected to the correction processing by the distortion correction means 104; and projection means 106 for projecting the combined image combined by the image combination means 105. The image projection device further includes image deformation means 103 for detecting distortion of the inputted first image and performing deformation processing of the second image according to the detected distortion. The image deformation means 103 performs the deformation processing of the second image before the correction processing is performed by the distortion correction means 104. |
