PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the compactibility of a rolled material or the physical property of another material by controlling an aggregate tissue of the rolled material.SOLUTION: An asymmetrical rolling method is provided to roll a rolling object material by using one or working rolls where pressure rolls mutually having different diameters rotating at the same rotation linear speed form a pair. According to another aspect of this invention, an asymmetrical rolling apparatus is provided which contains a first roll brought into contact with the first face of the rolling object material, a second roll having a larger diameter than the first roll and brought into contact with the second face opposite the first face, and a power providing part that supplies power to the first roll and the second roll so as to adjust the ratio of the rotation angular speed of the first roll and that of the second roll.
