PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon to be seen as light leakage in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel 10, a light guide plate 24 that converts incident light into surface emission light toward the liquid crystal display panel 10, an optical sheet 26 present between the liquid crystal display panel 10 and the light guide plate 24, a frame 30 that accommodates the light guide plate 24 inside, and a double-sided tape 32 that adheres to the liquid crystal display panel 10 and the frame 30. The double-sided tape 32 has light-shielding property and extends from between the liquid crystal display panel 10 and the frame 30 to the inside of the frame 30, and overlaps an end of the light guide plate 24 and an end of the optical sheet 26 between the liquid crystal display panel 10 and the optical sheet 26. |
