The method includes generating a pre-computed database containing real-time availability attributes associated with hotel rooms on a plurality of length of stays; receiving a query for availability of rooms of at least one hotel for a date range; determining a first search result from the pre-computed database; determining a second search result obtained from a different source; generating a final search result by merging said results.
