<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a pedestrian that can suppress airbags inflated and expanded along A pillars from tramping in a vehicle width direction and an automobile equipped with the airbag device for a pedestrian.SOLUTION: Airbag devices 10 and 10' for a pedestrian have: airbags 11 that have pillar cover parts 11a to be inflated along A pillars 5 and cowl cover parts 11b covering a cowl 3; retainers 12 having the airbags 11 folded and stored therein; and an inflator for inflating the airbags, where the interiors of the pillar cover parts 11a are partitioned by a partition panel into a first chamber provided near the center in a vehicle width direction and a second chamber provided outward. When the airbags 11 are inflated, recessed stripes H to be engaged with the A pillars 5 are formed on lower faces of the pillar cover parts 1a.</p> |
