PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception device, a reception method, and a transmission/reception method, capable of preventing abnormal video output at switching between a 2D program and a 3D program in a reception device of digital broadcasting.SOLUTION: In reception of a digital signal in which a 3D video program content and a 2D video program content are mixed, a digital signal including first identification information for identifying whether a program content to be received is a 3D video program or a 2D video program and second identification information for identifying a termination position of the video program content, and the program content, is received. The received digital signal is decoded, and a program content included in the decoded digital signal is converted into a predetermined display video format or output video format, and then, outputted. In the outputting, when switching between the 2D video program content and the 3D video program content is detected by the first identification information, and the termination position of the 3D video program content is identified by the second identification information, switching to the 2D output video format output is performed. |
