<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of detecting the amount of remaining toner.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus includes: a developing device container 450 for housing toner T; a developing sleeve 401 carrying the toner T; a toner conveyance apparatus 430 having an endless toner conveyance belt 431 having a plurality of holes 436 formed on a surface, and conveying the toner T in the developing device container 450 to the developing sleeve 401 by circulation of the toner conveyance belt 431; and first and second electrodes 411, 412 to be used for detecting the amount of toner T remaining in the developing device container 450. The first and second electrodes 411, 412 are arranged in an area on an inner surface of the toner conveyance belt 431.</p> |
