<p>ABSTRACT TRIPLE POINT ANGLED DRILL The drill having a taper shank, a neck, helical flutes and a point to be used in a drilling machine with improved point geometry having three point angles in a single drill; the first point angle measuring 1180, second point angle in the range 700-720 and ground over a length of lip ranging, C1=1.5 to 5 mm, and third point angle in the range 540-560 and ground over a length of lip ranging, C2=0.5 to 2.0 mm; resulting in improved hole quality and enhanced productivity.
