PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle control device capable of suppressing a delay in supercharging responsiveness of an engine if an assistance possible amount of an electric motor is restricted.SOLUTION: A control device of the present invention determines whether assistance possible amounts of a first motor generator and a second motor generator are restricted (S4); and changes an operation point of an engine so that the engine can operate at a high speed (S7) as compared with a case in which the assistance possible amounts are not restricted if the assistance possible amounts are restricted.
