The invention relates to a heat exchanger element comprising a tubular body of which the wall is at least partially delimited by an internal surface (IS) and an external surface (OS). The wall has a twisted shape over a segment of the body. The internal surface includes a groove having a shape matching that of the wall. The groove extends helically along the segment. The external surface has a diameter (COD) of between 18 and 30 mm and the groove has a pitch (CP) of less than 3.5 mm and a depth such that the ratio of the pitch at an active power of between 1.5 and 2.5 to the depth is less than a ceiling value close to 24. The invention also relates to a heat exchanger, particularly of the condenser type, comprising such an element.
