PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new fluorocarbon based mixtures to be potentially environmentally safe substitutes for CFCs and HCFCs.SOLUTION: Provided are heat transfer systems, methods and compositions which utilize a heat transfer fluid comprising: (a) about 30 wt.% to about 65 wt.% of HFC-134a; (b) about 0 wt.% to about 70 wt.% of HFO1234ze; and (c) about 0 wt.% to about 70 wt.% of HFO-1234yf, provided that the total amount of HFO-1234ze and HFO-1234yf in the composition is at least about 35 wt.%, with the weight percent being based on the total of the components (a)-(c) in the composition. |
