Notifying the usage of the service package comprises: determining information concerning the usage of the user-customized service package; sending the information concerning the usage of the service package to an application server and/or an application client, wherein the application service is used for sending the usage of the service package to the application client. The technical solution allows users to get aware of the usage of the service package or renew the service package without quite troublesome operations, achieving the effect of user experience improvement.
