NOVEL NTRK1 FUSION GENE AS COLORECTAL CANCER MARKER AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a fusion protein of lamin A (LMNA) or tropomyosin 3 (TPM3) and neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor, type 1 (NTRK1), and to a fusion gene polynucleotide encoding the same. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing colorectal cancer, containing an agent of measuring the fusion protein, the fusion gene, or the transcription product of the fusion gene, and to a kit for diagnosing colorectal cancer, comprising the same. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for providing information necessary for the diagnosis of colorectal cancer, the method comprising a step of measuring the level of an NTRK1 fusion gene, a transcription product thereof, or a protein thereof, and to a method for providing information necessary for the prediction of the prognosis of colorectal cancer treatment. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for screening a colorectal cancer therapeutic agent, the method comprising a step of measuring the expression level of an NTRK1 fusion gene, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating colorectal cancer, the composition containing an NTRK1 fusion protein inhibitor as an active ingredient, and to a method for preventing or treating colorectal cancer, the method comprising a step of administering the pharmaceutical composition to a subject. The present invention provides a diagnostic marker specific to colorectal cancer, thereby accurately diagnosing colorectal cancer, and predicting clinical prognosis through stratification of colorectal cancer patients, and predicting validity of the treatment of colorectal cancer, especially, predicting validity of the treatment of colorectal cancer by an NTRK1 protein inhibitor. Therefore, the administration of a drug to a colorectal cancer patient, for who the administration of the drug is not considered to be effective, can be restricted, and thus it is possible to realize an efficient and safe personalized treatment of colorectal cancer.
