Provided is a sealing device configured so that the sealing performance is not impaired by the plastic deformation (collapse) of an outer peripheral lip. A sealing device is provided with: a resin packing (10) having an outer peripheral lip (12) which is located on the outer peripheral side from an annular mounting groove (11) provided facing fluid to be sealed, the resin packing (10) also having an inner peripheral lip (13) which is located on the inner peripheral side from the mounting groove (11); and a metallic spring member (20) mounted within the mounting groove (11), the metallic spring member (20) having an outer peripheral pressing section (21) which extends from the bottom side of the mounting groove (11) toward the outer periphery and toward the fluid to be sealed and which presses the outer peripheral lip (12) toward the outer periphery, the metallic spring member (20) also having an inner peripheral pressing section (22) which extends from the bottom side of the mounting groove (11) toward the inner peripheral side and toward the fluid to be sealed and which presses the inner peripheral lip (13) toward the inner periphery. Among the outer peripheral lip (12) and the inner peripheral lip (13), only the inner peripheral lip (13) is provided with a protrusion (13a) for preventing the spring member (20) from coming out. |
