<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular accelerator capable of instantaneously changing an outgoing energy of charged particles, and of eliminating a need for changing a magnetic field for deflecting a trajectory of the charged particles and an acceleration frequency of a high-frequency acceleration electrode part, in a device of accelerating charged particles.SOLUTION: A circular accelerator 100 comprises: a dee electrode 1 and dummy dee electrodes 2a-2e applying a high-frequency electric field for accelerating a charged particle beam; an electromagnet device deflecting the charged particle beam; opening and closing devices 8a and 8b partially short-circuiting and connecting the dee electrode 1 and the dummy dee electrodes 2a-2e; impedance adjustment circuit elements 7a1, 7a2, 7b1, and 7b2; and an insulation material 3.</p> |
