The present invention relates to an air conditioner having different outlets according to driving modes. The air conditioner comprises: a body; a heat exchanger arranged to exchange heat with indoor air; a cooling outlet located at the front of the heat exchanger; and a heating outlet located at the bottom of the heat exchanger and separately arranged with the cooling outlet. Indoor air exchanging heat with the heat exchanger is emitted to the outside of the body through the cooling outlet when the air conditioner is in cooling operation, and through the heating outlet when the air conditioner is in heating operation. In cooling operation and heating operation, air is emitted through the different outlets so that optimal air conditioning and heating effects can be obtained in each operation mode.
