<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout design device, a layout design method, and a layout design program capable of filling objects of diversified shapes in layout regions of diversified shapes.SOLUTION: Basic objects P1 and objects P of types other than the type of the basic objects P1 are stored as objects P, and a layout region R2 is filled first with the basic objects P1 of one type. The basic objects P1 projecting from the layout region R2 are replaced by the objects P of the other types, or the basic objects P1 projecting from the layout region R2 are deleted from the layout region R2. That is, the objects P of the other types that can fall within the layout region R2 are filled in the layout region R2 in place of the basic objects P1 projecting from the layout region R2. Alternatively, the basic objects P1 projecting from the layout region R2 are deleted if no objects P of the other types that can fall within the layout region R2 are present.</p> |
