PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus which can secure high image quality as well as strength of a regulation member.SOLUTION: Each of developing apparatuses 3a-3d includes a developing container 20, a developing roller 31, and an ear-breaking blade 32 for regulating a layer thickness of developer on a surface of the developing roller 31. The ear-breaking blade 32 includes a regulation body 50 made of resin which is higher in strength than the developing container 20, and metal foil 51 arranged at a tip part of the regulation body 50. The metal foil 51 includes a downstream surface section 51a fixed to a surface 50a downstream of the regulation body 50, and a regulation surface section 51b formed by bending the tip of the downstream surface section 51a toward the upstream and arranged to face the developing roller 31. |
