<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic rod that suppresses reverberation consequent on size and weight reductions of the case, excels in sensitivity to low and middle-range sounds, serves to enhance the perceived sound orientation and prevents impact noise arising at the start of leaking sound exploration.SOLUTION: An acoustic rod has a case in which an auxiliary diaphragm that is fitted to the tip of a bar protruding into the inside of a lower part of the case and vibrated by a propagating wave from leaking noise propagated over the bar, a disk-shaped diaphragm that is vibrated by a propagating wave propagating the vibration of this auxiliary diaphragm, an O ring intervening between this disk-shaped diaphragm and the upper part of the case, and an impact noise preventing mechanism that is enabled by combined use of the disk-shaped diaphragm and the auxiliary diaphragm to restrain generation of reverberation within the case and at the same time to absorb the vibration of the auxiliary diaphragm consequent on impact noise arising at the time of starting leaking point exploration in the gap between the bottom face in the case and the auxiliary diaphragm.</p> |
