HOLOGRAPHIC WAVEFRONT RECORDING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING SEAMLESS COLOR HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGES

A holographic wavefront recording device and method for reproducing seamless color holographic images are provided. A color holographic wavefront printer, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a light modulation unit for displaying a portion of a holographic fringe pattern on a spatial light modulator and generating a wavefront diffracted by a plane wave incident to the spatial light modulator; and an optical filter unit for separating a portion from the diffracted wavefront outputted from the light modulation unit so as to deliver the separated portion to a holographic recording medium, wherein element holograms are classified by different color portions, respectively, and the light modulation unit displays only one type of color portion at one time point. Accordingly, an interference pattern fragmented by fragmenting one element hologram is diffracted by each laser light source, and thus a color hologram can be recorded on a holographic recording medium, and a more natural and clear color holographic recording can be performed according to a degree of fragmentation.
