<p>A method (200) for providing a hole or opening (201, 202) into a component (203), such as a watch dial, comprising protective layers (205, 206) and a display layer (204) arranged between said protective layers, wherein said display layer comprises cavities with fluid, such as an electrophoretic ink paper layer (204). The first hole (201, 301) is provided at least partially through the display layer (204) and moisture sealing material (213) is provided in the contact with the first hole (201) in order to seal the surface of the hole (201) of the electrophoretic ink paper layer (204).
