<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for easily and quickly determining the quality of a sheet-like cell culture, and a sheet-like cell culture especially suitable for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet-like cell culture is produced in a circular shape, and the contour of the sheet-like cell culture is detected by an image sensor to find the circularity of the contour. The quality of the sheet-like cell culture is determined based on the found circularity.
