<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an amount of resource required for the resolution of a print image smaller. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a screen processing part 23 performs screen processing for color data of prescribed resolution with respect to an image including an object. An exposure control part 24 generates an exposure control signal that designates a pixel to be exposed by a light source based on the color data after the screen processing.
