The present invention relates to a power transmission apparatus for a compressor, comprising: a pulley to be rotated by a driving power transmitted from an engine; a limiter installed in the same axis as the pulley to transmit power and to break against a torque greater than a predetermined level from a compressor; a hub provided on the same axis as the limiter to transmit the driving power of the compressor; and a damper to rotate with the pulley to absorb an impact from the torque variations transmitted from a rotary shaft of the compressor. The limiter is made of a material composed of 0.1-2.5 wt% of Cu, and remaining amount of Fe.
