PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support apparatus performable of the initial setting of an angle detection sensor in a state in which a user is stable.SOLUTION: The walking support apparatus is mounted on the thigh part of a user and has an incremental type angle detection sensor 7 on the joint part of upper and lower side links. This walking support apparatus comprises a first detection means 13 for detecting the extension state of the joint part and an initial setting means 14 for performing the initial setting of the angle detection sensor 7 on the basis of the extension state of the joint part detected by the first detection means 13. |
