<p>A wireless mesh network is configured to provide an electronic device access to content held on a first content server which stores content specific to the location of the wireless mesh network. A first wireless access point within the wireless mesh network is further configured to concurrently provide a second service which provides the electronic device access to further non-location specific content accessed via the internet. A user is able to selectively connect the electronic device to the first, or second service. The wireless access point may provide further local information which is specific to that particular access point. For example, a user within a retail park may receive location information relevant to the whole retail park (i.e. the area covered by the mesh network), location information specific to an individual shop (i.e. an individual access point) as well as obtain a connection to the internet.</p> |
