摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image processing technique that reduces discontinuity at boundaries of regions while reflecting users' intentions such as diaphragm or compositions, when image processing is to be performed on each region and then a single image is to be re-created. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor according to the present invention divides a single image into a plurality of regions, performs image processing on the regions, and synthesizes a single image from the regions again. The image processor includes: first scene information acquiring means that acquires scene information for each of the plurality of regions of an input image; second scene information acquiring means that acquires scene information in boundary areas of the regions; generation means that generates an image obtained by performing image processing on the input image using a parameter for the scene information acquired by the first scene information acquiring means; calculation means for calculating a synthesis ratio for synthesizing resultant images generated by the generation means based on the scene information for the regions and for the boundary areas; and synthesis means for synthesizing images generated by the generation means based on the synthesis ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
