<p>The present invention relates to an unmanned operation and management apparatus for accepting mail and a control method thereof. The unmanned operation and management apparatus for accepting mails according to the present invention calculates mail fare according to the size and selected service of the mail in order to accept and treat the mail of a user manlessly, and makes the mail of a full common in-basket be collected by a collection worker, if the mail paid according to the calculated fare is thrown into the common in-basket and then the common in-basket is full. According to the present invention, the apparatus can measure the size of the mail accurately which is a mail fare calculation criterion, and can perform mail collection work easily by configuring and operating a common in-basket by the kind of mail, and also, can minimize the problem due to the lack of in-baskets by being able to accept mail through a spare delivery box even though the common in-basket is full.</p> |
