<p>The invention pertains to a method for determining driving characteristics relating to a vehicle, comprising the step of determining (S1 ) speed changes of the vehicle as a basis for assessment of how the vehicle is driven. The method comprises the steps of carrying out (S2) the assessment while considering a passenger perspective, wherein said driving characteristics also comprise changes in direction of the vehicle, and of using (S3) the assessment as a basis for considering passenger comfort considerations relating to the driving of the vehicle.
