The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for providing a user-based interactive image by inserting various kinds of image processing information, corresponding to user input, in an image in an electronic device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes the steps of: displaying the image; checking the image processing information of the image; and outputting feedback by image processing which responds to the user input based on the image processing information. Other various embodiments of the present invention are possible based on the embodiment described above.
