METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESURING VOLUME OF BROADCAST PRORGRAM

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for measuring the volume of a broadcast program. The apparatus for measuring the volume of a broadcast program separates a voice stream from an image stream of broadcast streams and measures the volume of the broadcast program by using the separated voice stream and schedule information of a broadcast program. The method for measuring the volume of the broadcast program includes: a step of receiving the schedule information of the broadcast program; a step of receiving the image stream and the voice stream of the broadcast program; a step of separating the voice stream from the image stream; and a step of measuring the volume of the broadcast program by using the schedule information and the separated voice stream.
