A wireless power supply device comprises: a power supply device (1) including an inverter (11), a primary coil (L1), and a power supply-side resonant circuit (12) provided between the inverter (11) and the primary coil (L1); a power receiving device (2) including a secondary coil (L2) that is magnetically coupled to the primary coil (L1) and obtains energy from the primary coil (L1) and performing a voltage conversion on the energy obtained by the secondary coil (L2) to generate an output power; a mode determination circuit (15) for determining whether the operation mode of the inverter (11) is a leading power factor mode or a lagging power factor mode; and a control circuit (15) for controlling a resonant parameter of the power supply-side resonant circuit so that the operation mode becomes the lagging power factor mode.
