<p>The present invention provides a terminal registration method and apparatus. The terminal registration method comprises: a user equipment receiving a first identification that is allocated by a first network element and is used for identifying the user equipment; the user equipment sending a first message carrying the first identification to a second network element, so that the second network element allocates a second identification to a user and sends a second message to the first network element, and after the first network element passes authentication of the user equipment according to the first identification, the first network element records the second identification used for identifying the user and sends a third message to the second network element; and the user equipment receiving a fourth message that is sent by the second network element and is used for returning a registration success result to the user equipment. In this manner, automatic registration of a ProSe service, a near-distance service, of a user equipment is implemented.</p> |
